In the Clear and FUN!!!

PRAISE GOD!!! I have not had a break out of hives since Friday! So Whatever it was that caused my allergic reaction is fully out of my system and hopefully I won't come across it again! It feels so wonderful to not have to worry anymore. I am sorry it took so long for me to post this but I have been gone a lot lately and working on a report. I am doing a research paper on Joan of Arc. I have to finish it before 3:30 because I am leaving shortly after that time to go to my friend Katelyn's house. We are going to hang out together until the Summer Bash party at her church starts. At the church they are going to have water games, a mud pit!!!, food and lots of other things. I am going to wear a black tank top and some yucky jean shorts (its actually a pair of jeans that I cut into shorts) so that it won't matter if I trash myself with MUD! LOL I can't wait to go and I will bring my camera to take a pic of the mud pit if I can. If I can I will post a picture of it here on my blog! That would be cool. So I will post more later!

Better..... I hope.

Dearly beloved blog readers,
Yesterday was hard to call because in the morning it was pretty bad but after the benadryl I was much better until this morning (at approximately 4AM!... real convenient time to be up) I woke up and was REALLY itchy so I went to the bathroom and turned on the lights and after letting my eyes focus and wake up, I saw something HORRIFYING! Not only were the hives back but they were EVERYWHERE! My face, neck, arms, wrists, hands, legs, and part of my back was covered with hives! I wanted to cry out in pain I was sooooo itchy! I prayed for a long time after taking my benadryl and I just prayed until I fell asleep which was much later. I didn't fall back asleep until about 6am and then I woke up at about 8am and I had gone to bed at about midnight so overall, I got about 5 hours of sleep and when taking benadryl you get really drowsy so I was zonked out for a while this morning. Then it came back again when I woke up so I took more benadryl after 6 hours of waiting so I took it again after 10am. God truly must have given me extra boosts of energy while I was babysitting today because if it was up to me, I would have napped the afternoon away.... but that didn't happen. Instead I was babysitting but it was kinda nice to get outside and such. I actually had fun playing with the kids despite my lack of energy. I came home to discover my mom and baby brother were both napping and my siblings were doing stuff on the computer so I grabbed my Brio & Beyond Magazine and laid out on the deck and read a few articles. Nothing really exciting happened after that and I am getting sleepy since it is almost 11:30pm. I pray that when I go to sleep I won't wake up with hives AGAIN! So PLEASE pray for me! God's blessings be on you all through your sleep!
In Christ's love,

Good News and Clarinet thoughts.......

I am not 100% better but, since I am taking my medication prescribed by the Dr., the swelling and itching has dramatically reduced. I still have a few red spots and this morning it was REALLY BAD but I took and benedryl, the prescription from the Dr. and after about two -three hours, I was much better like I am now! Praise God for His love endures forever!!! Great things can happen through prayer. So besides me, my baby brothers skin is fine. He still has little red bumps but it was nothing more than mosquito bites! YEAAAAA!!! Besides the crazy week I have had, I am worried because last week I had a sore throat so I couldn't practice my clarinet and now this week I had hives and was in too much pain to play so over the weekend until Tuesday, I am going to have to practice like crazy while my brother is not taking naps! For some reason I just don't have a strong passion for clarinet like how I love to play piano. Maybe its because I am just now starting to feel normal again after two weeks of craziness. I am going to try my best to catch up. I am playing with whether I want to join band again or not. I do enjoy playing the clarinet but its not the instrument I am worried about but how dedicated I am. My goal was to reach Concert Band but right now I am too tired to think of my goals. I will pray about it and see how things turn out. Thanks for your prayers and support!

Emergency Care

My mom called a nurse to ask what could be done for my hives. The nurse told her that I could have a steriod shot! Yikes! Well my dad took me to Emergency care and I had a check-up. The nurse said everything was normal and then she had the doctor come in. He asked a lot of questions like when did it start, did you eat or come in contact with anything new and other similar questions. He couldn't figure what might be bothering me but he gave my dad a prescription for steriod pills I have to take and then he sent us on our way. I was glad I didn't have to get a shot because even though I had one not that long ago, it still makes me a little nervous. Well I took a benadryl not that long ago so I am kinda sleepy but I will continue to post on how things go.

HIVES Update

So every six hours before today I had been taking benedryl for the hives but this morning, my parents tried giving me an allegra. So far so good I guess. But the scariest part was when I woke up this morning to see that my hands were completely swollen from hives! It was awful to look at. Fortunatly the swelling is MUCH better so I can actually type this but my legs and feet and part of my arms are covered in hives. All I ask for is your prayers and comments. : )

I will post more tonight to let you know how I am doing but until then, here is a pic of the new pajamas I bought! I like them alot because they are 100% cotton! That means 100% comfortable!!!!!!!!

I HAVE HIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.K. So apparently I am HIGHLY allergic to something I ate in the past two days because I have hives all up and down my legs! My mom thought that when it was on my arms it was mild poison ivy as I said in the post before but after my dad watched my skin change he realized it is hives! So I am trying to hold in my screams of pain from having all these monstrous bumps all over my legs and face! I took some medicine for it just minutes ago so it won't work for another fifteen minutes or so and I have to leave to go babysit for five hours in just thirty minutes!!!!!! (It is 7:30am). So first the hives started small on my arms and the top of my thighs, then it was gone from my arms and legs, then it appeared on my face pretty bad, and now I wake up this morning and have HUGE bumps all up and down my legs! The scary thing is that I don't know what I ate that caused such an allergic reaction! Please pray that my skin will be healed and that whatever it is I ate will pass through my body quickly and that somehow we can figure out what it was!!!

Thanks for your prayers,

Please Pray

Dear Friendly blog readers,

I don't want to sound selfish but I desperatly need your prayers! On Monday, my family and I went to a park to play tennis with some friends and there was poison ivy near the tennis court. Well according to my mom's friend, the ball had rolled under a bush and I believe that is why I have poison ivy over my arms! Its horrible but not terribly itchy. Now what truly concerns me is the fact that my baby brother seems to have some type of blisters on his skin. We don't know if the bumpy blisters are mosquito bites or poison ivy like me but pray that our skin will have a quick recovery! Thank you for your prayers and I know God will heal our skin in His perfect timing so we can rejoice and praise his name for his blessings and love!

God bless,

R U There???

Hey readers,
I know I don't post as often as I would like too but if I got more comments (currently I haven't received a new comment in quite some time) that would encourage me to write more often. But anyway, things have been good except on Thursday when I started my monthly period. I feel fine now but goodness, the first day is a doosy! Well besides my troubles, we have had fun this weekend. Yesterday we went to a Art Fest and it was lots of fun! We saw some sweet bike stunts too! It was crazy some of the stuff those guys were doing! So we were at the festival for about five hours and afterwards we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel. My mom and I split the BBQ chicken meal which was soooo good! Praise God for good food!!! I would never imagine living in China or Japan and eating squid for dinner! Ewwwwwwww!!!!!! Anyways, today my aunt and cousins came over during the afternoon and we had fun talking and playing with our cousins. After they left a few hours later, we had dinner (bologna sandwiches) and then my brother and sister helped me organize our shed outside. It took almost two hours but it looks MUCH better now! You actually can find what you are looking for in just a minute verses twenty minutes of digging or searching! LOL So I am really tired now so I think I am going to hit my bed with my book and knock out soon. Tomorrow has babysitting on my calendar so I need to get some rest so I am not falling asleep on the job!

4th of July and weekend

Hey Blogger friends,

So on Friday, my alarm clock went off at 6:30am but I automatically woke up at 6:14 exact! I have no idea why though. I went upstairs to see if anyone was awake but of course everyone else was sleeping!!!!! I woke them up though (very gently) and at first my mom was going to stay home with the baby but he woke up so we all left a little after 7am. By the time we got to the parade we had already missed the first 30 minutes or so but fortunatly we found a pretty good place to set up our chairs to watch the parade. We also got free donuts! Mmm... Anyway, the parade was really nice. My baby brother didn't like the loud parts like the fire trucks and monster truck but we would cover his ears so the sound wouldn't be too loud. After the parade (it ended around 9am) we went home to change into shorts and t-shirts (we had dressed warm in the morning cuz it had been barely over 50 degrees!) and we took a break and the baby and my mom took a nap. At about 11:30 we went to the 4th of July parade after party in a nearby park. They had hotdogs (all beef fortunatly!), chips, water, pop, and Guernsey ice cream and EVERYTHING was only a nickel! Yes you read that right! Just 5 cents for anything you wanted! And they had contests for kids. My brother and I came in first place for the waterballoon toss and we both got a free hullahoop, giant bubbles, and squishy footballs. My sister won a pail and shovel for the beach in a water game and she got a hullahoop too! We had lots of fun. My baby brother didn't get any treats except a taste of hotgog bun! LOL But that still kept him happy. He didn't get upset until we were leaving because he was due for a nap. When we got home, we were more tired than when we woke up that morning! We all relaxed and some took naps. I read my book, The Rising by Tim Lahaye. My dad had rented movies and we watched Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium. It was ok but not a movie that I would want to watch over again. I went to bed kinda late. I woke up Saturday kinda earlier than expected. After breakfast, we all went outside and spread out new mulch in our yard. It took a while but it looks really nice now! I was tired afterwards. Then I helped my mom weed the garden (a painful job). Then my dad trimmed the many many bushes in our front yard and we had to pick up almost every piece of bush trimmings!!!! I strongly dislike that job but I went through it quickly through teamwork and wanting to get it done.
Sunday morning was peaceful. We had a nice breakfast of eggs and toast at around 8:30 and then after eating and cleaning the kitchen, we got showered, dressed, and left for Church. After Church, we went home to change into more comfy clothes and went to a festival. The festival was small and dreadfully lame so we left after a little over thirty minutes (it took less than that time to look at it all!) and we got burgers from an old fashioned burger place and took our good food to a local park. We had a very pleasent time and it was nice to walk around the park. Then we walked to the ice cream store just down the road from the park and my mom and I split a cherry malt, my dad had an orange twist, my sister had a orange sherbert (a very special treat), my younger brother had an orange twist and my baby brother was sleeping so he didn't miss out on anything in his dreamworld. : )
When we got home, we took turns showering and relaxed and enjoyed more of God's beautiful weather outside.

Until next time,

My Weekend with my BFFWILLAS!!!!!!!!!!

So last weekend my BFFWILLAS (best friend forever who i love like a sister) came up from Florida to spend the weekend with me. I anticipated Kaitlyn coming over for the past three months and then the day was finally here. Kaitlyn arrived a little later than expected because her parents had to drop off other kids at friends homes here. So when she got here we hugged on another like long lost friends! We were both very excited and happy to see one another. I showed her my room in the den and we talked for a while before we went to the kitchen and made BLTs for dinner. We took pictures of ourselves together on my digital camera and we played basketball together on the driveway. We played around the world B-ball and we both won so it was a tie! LOL Then we played a game we had made up together a couple summers before she had moved. We don't have a real name for it but I live in a court and in the center of the court is a little island of grass with a tall maple tree in the center. We use these scoopy like toys to throw a tennis ball OVER the tall maple tree but we never count points because we just do it for fun. Fortunately we have never accidentally had the ball land on someones car! LOL After that we went and sat on the hammock together and talked about things that have been going on since she moved to FL nearly a year ago. We moved to sit on my three layer deck when mosquito's tried to get at us. Then we went inside, I showered while she changed into her PJ's and we set up a sleeping area right in front of our big screen TV. We watched the original movie of THE MUMMY! It was actually really good! We totally weren't scared but it was fun to watch. We ate popcorn and dark chocolate raisenets while we watched the movie. Then my family went upstairs to their beds while Kaitlyn and I tried to find something on TV to watch. We watched a couple episodes of Home Improvement and then we watch Evan Almighty which started at 1am. Kaitlyn fell asleep a little before 2am and I could barely keep my eyes open! LOL So I turned off the TV and we both slept pretty well. I got up at like 4am to go to the bathroom because I had drank LOTS of water on Saturday but that wasn't so bad because I fell back asleep almost as my head hit the pillow. My mom came downstairs with the baby to tell us it was 8:30am and Kaitlyn's parents were coming to take us to church in 30 minutes!!! While I got dressed into my skirt and blouse, Kaitlyn showered really fast, and my mom was upstairs making blueberry pancakes for us (isn't that so sweet!). We finished eating and getting our purses ready just minutes before her parents arrived. My family went to the 11am service. So we got to the church a few minutes early which was what we had planned. Sunday morning was actually really rainy. It got nice out after church though. We went to a fancy Italian restaurant after church and my mom met us there. My dad stayed home because the baby was sleeping and my siblings stayed home so they could play. After lunch, we all went back to my house and we took lots of pictures, Kaitlyn and I drew silhouettes of one another, she helped me pick out the scrap booking paper to use for our pages and we talked much more. At 4pm, Kaitlyn's family had to go see more friends before they had to go up north to see even more friends and family. I had a wonderful time with Kaitlyn and was terribly sad to see her go again. It was hard to think that I won't see her again for another 365 days but that is life for you. We said our sad goodbyes and waved until we were out of one another's sight. I had lots of pictures and memories to save in my scrapbook so I will never forget this weekend. After she left, we all had to go shopping and when we got back we all went to bed because we were TIRED! That was my weekend!

Until next post,
